Wagon Branch Farm is 70 acres of cultivated farmland located just northeast of Megargel.  The farm has been leased to the same lessee for over 60 years and is currently used to produce wheat.  The soils consist primarily of deandale loam and winters loam, which are very productive farming soils.  The farm could be converted to grow almost any improved Texas grasses to be baled or grazed.  There is no stock pond on the property, however, there is 1,900 ft of Wagon Branch Creek that could be used to create a stock pond.  Although the property has never been leased for hunting it could be used as a great dove hunting property if planted correctly, as this area is known to have excellent seasonal dove hunting.
